Privacy Policy.
Short version: Cartolina keeps nothing about you. No accounts, no personal data, no tracking, no advertising. The photos you pick and the cards you make stay on your device. The app sends a handful of anonymous usage signals (for example "a card was shared") so we can tell which features matter — never your photos, your places, or anything you type.
What we do not collect
- No name, email, phone number, or any personal details — there is nothing to fill in.
- No account, login, or password.
- No identified analytics or usage tracking — usage statistics are anonymous and can never be traced back to you (details below).
- No advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app tracking.
- Location is optional and one-shot: the "use my location" button asks for when-in-use permission, reads your position once to find the spot, and never stores it — you can always just type a place name instead.
What stays on your device
- Photos you pick for a card (via the system photo picker — the app only ever receives the single photo you choose).
- The cards you compose and export.
- Your settings and, if you buy it, your Cartolina Pro unlock state.
Anonymous usage statistics
The app counts how its features are used through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service. What is sent is strictly bounded: event names like "card shared" or "template selected", with values drawn from fixed lists (template name, map style, on/off flags). It never includes place names, coordinates, photos, typed text, or any identifier that could single you out — signals are anonymized before they reach TelemetryDeck's servers. This is "Usage Data — not linked to you" in the App Store privacy label.
Apple services the app talks to
- Apple Maps — place search and map imagery are provided by Apple's MapKit. Your search text is sent to Apple to return results, under Apple's privacy policy. Cartolina adds no identifiers to these requests.
- App Store / StoreKit — the one-time Cartolina Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see payment details.
- Saving to Photos — uses add-only access: the app can add your finished card to your library but cannot read anything in it.
Children
Cartolina is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.
